    I got an adapter at Autozone. Cost was under $14. Saved me a trip from Pueble to Colorado Springs and back on my way to New Mexico when I picked up a bumper pull.

    I am. I'm old enough that this year I have to sign up for medicare, Medicaid, or mediwhatever... so I guess that makes me officially old. So it looks like I can have my backup camera as long as I am extra careful when I leave the tailgate on. Thanks for the inputs.

    The guy I bought the fifth wheel camper from removes his tail gate when he towed it. He has a 2016 3500 HD dually. I was wondering if the tail gate needed to be removed. Sure would be nice if you didn't have to.

    I got a new to me used fifth wheel camper. I understand that I have to remove the tail gate while towing the camper. When I do this then I will lose the backup camera. I like a backup camera on a pickup for safety reasons. What are some solutions?

    Air Bags Needed?

    2015 3500 HD SRW towing an 11,000 pound empty fifth wheel trailer. So I figure around 12,000 pounds with stuff in it. I know air bags can't hurt but are they needed in this case?
