Caught the Allison guy at our shop the other day and had him put a Allison tune in the truck to up the shift points :thumb:. Now when I take off from a light and cars try to cut me off to get over they eat bed...

    Lost oil pressure the other day. Pulled the engine and the sump was laying in the pan. Pulled the mains to check stuff out and they were ruined. Looks like the turbo build is going to come faster than I expected.

    Peterbuilt 337. 6 speed Allison with a 330 hp Paccar engine. Air ride suspension and cab. Power everything. Diff lock. 12,000# auto crane. 50cfm piston compressor at 175 psi. LED light package inside boxes and outside. LED light bar. Strobes. Igel really took care of me on this one!

    Thanks guys. First thing to yank it the evaporator lol Im not worried about a/c. Going small tire turbo build with it. Already pricing bad ass rims and tires. Paint and body is good enough to keep for awhile.

    Thanks. Pickup is for sale! Im going to clean up the engine bay and change the color. I've come to be very anal about wiring and this car is not hacked up but feel I could clean it up a lot. Its a good base for something very mean :thumb:

    4th Gear Pulling

    IMHO you would be better off with 3rd gear and 35" tires with that gear ratio. I pulled with 4.56 gears with around 700hp and in 4th gear still had to unlock the converter at the end. This was on very tight ohio clay tracks. I tried 33" tires with same results. Not enough HP's plain and simple.

    No. not the same style cylinder. Most of the time its external. Equipment has 20,000+ hours. After two three or four rebuilds the heads get rough. I'll try and find a pic of what im talking about.
