    took it to the dealer and they got it going. They reset it with a tech II, hopefully it doesn't happen again. I still think it would be good for someone to reply with a DIY fix for anyone else who runs into this problem. please add to the thread.

    Starting issue

    I have a 2007.5 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax. Last night I was driving home and the PassLock light(car with a padlock) came on on the dash. Truck ran fine all of the way home and I didn't think much of it, I went to start the truck this morning and all of the dash lights came on, radio came on etc...
