    Diesel shops in Bay Area..

    Down the road I am looking to do some work to the dmax. Like the trans, engine building etc... I was wondering if there are any good diesel shops in the bay area. Particulary in the north bay area. I'm willing to drive quite a distance to make sure I find the right guys. Anybody know of any shops?

    Whats some of the best lift pumps for the lb7? I can do most mechanical work i hope but whatever is best i would want. I don't want to go cheap on this truck.

    I don't have a lift pump right now but i don't run it past 100 hp with my stock tranny. I want to keep this thing for awhile and the injectors blowing along with the tranny blowing up. that would kill my wallet. My next investment will most likely be a lift pump. I don't know how old those...

    Bose issues

    I would check behind the deck at the speaker wires. I've had a few problems with those rattling so much they become disconnected. They are all 1-1 connections so shouldn't be to hard to see if the problem is there.
