I live in Lafayette Louisiana. Anyone know a good mechanic around here? Also anyone have some advise how to get a million miles out of one of these trucks? Intake Air (IA) Heater Feedback Circuit = P0540 Transmission Control Module (TCM) Requested MIL Illumination = p0700 Shift Solenoid 3 (SS3) Control Circuit High = p0980 Can anybody tell me what needs to be replaced?- jamie5

They were red with a scanner from autozone. I did google them but I had trouble finding out what to replace.- jamie5

Allison 5sp: New Gal needs some advice!!
Hey guys and gals! I just bought my first Duramax to pull my horses. Its a 2002 4x4 automatic with 217,000 miles on it. I paid 6500 fro it so I think I got a good deal. Its nice and clean and came with a toll box/fuel cell. The only problems I have with it is these codes. P0980, P0700 and P0540...- jamie5
