    injector warehouse good or bad?

It came off one of the cracked injectors. When they took them off they where on very tight. Took a lot of effort to get them off. They looked new so they reused them but did not over tighten them so hence the leak. I hope the injector is not cracked as they don't even have 1000 miles on them. We...

    Let me start over

My name is Tom Albrecht, and I'm from Upstate NY.(15 mins. north of Utica) I'm new to diesels and found a lot of good info here. I have an 04 2500hd ext lt 4x4. Seller put the screws to me telling me that it had new injectors. Yeah right, maybe 100,00 miles ago. So after paying 12,500 and 3500...

    injector warehouse good or bad?

Skidoo88, thanks for the reply. I went to an Isuzu truck shop and he sold me a new one for 50 dollars. Number 8 is the only one that leaked out the top. Took it off and the mechanic cleaned and inspected it and reinstalled it then it started to "make oil" Isuzu Tech inspected the fitting on the...

    Ams oil 15w-40

Mine dropped to just a tick over the red line and I checked the oil level and I was making oil. Drained the pan and took out 5 gallons. leaking injectors filled my oil pan. replaced the injectors. Then it had forty plus at idle and 60 plus at 2000 rpms. Need to replace an injector line but...

    injector warehouse good or bad?

I don't think they are all bad, but they where on super tight and took a lot of effort to remove them. I can spend 200 and replace them all vs the trial and error method. My only regret was not finding this site sooner.

    injector warehouse good or bad?

Thanks ripmf666, I see that there is a core charge. Mine look new but they where over tightened by the previous owner. Seem to have distorted the "cone". We reused them because they where clean and rust free. It was only after install was done did we realize that at least one of them was...

    high pressure line

I have an 04 LB7 and had new injectors installed along with return lines. They where vac tested and now I still have diesel in the oil pan. The mech. said the high press.lines looked good and reused them. Is it possible that they are leaking under the valve covers?

    Help: p2227

Thanks jlawes2, I'll check that out. It's parked for now. The mechanic that installed the injectors is coming over on Tuesday and we will try to get it running right. As luck would have it it has Cali. emissions. There may be a delete kit in the future.

    Help: p2227

Thanks Big John. I replaced it but it is still throwing the code and also a p0405 egr flow sensor low A circut input. Ready to torch it!!! 3500 in injectors ran great for 100 miles and now it blows smoke as soon as the turbo spools and is down on power. Gm dealer is clueless. Noticed that one of...

    Help: p2227

New Guy here. I have an 04 LB7 and I replaced all of the injectors. It ran great for about a hundred miles. Then it threw a p2227 code lost power and smokes a lot when it comes on to the turbo. Replaced the Baro sensor and it still smokes and lacks power. Any clues on where to go next?
