Jump from full stop or going into drive.

The truck was in the shop on Friday. They found it needed a new bearing and drive shaft center support. While they were there they lubed the slip yoke. When I picked up the truck it was running perfectly! Right around $500 to resolve and covered by extended warranty 100%.

    Tank Size Question

It went into the shop on Friday and they had to replace the fuel level sensor. It was around $400 to replace, and covered by the extended warranty. When I dropped it off at the shop it was on the line just above the red line. When I picked it up, it was on the line just over 1/4 tank. I...

    Tank Size Question

So I've run it a few times until the light comes on, and then driven it a bit further. Every time, it takes at most 19 gallons, usually 18.something. This just doesn't seem right that I can't use 7 gallons (27%) of my fuel tank. I'm going to have the truck into the dealer for something...

    Low Oil Pressure

I have a 2005, so I believe that makes it an LLY. When I noticed that it was low, I was near Atlanta on I75. While its not flat its far from steep grades. I live in Florida, near the coast, so around town driving is perfectly flat and always around 30psi.

    Low Oil Pressure

I took my new (to me) 2005 Silverado 2500 on a road trip pulling the camper, which is about 7500lbs. Before the trip I had the local garage double check and all the fluids were looking good and at the proper level. When stopping to get fuel I also checked everything. When driving the oil...

    Tank Size Question

I wasn't sure where to post this question, so I'll throw it in here. I just bought a new (to me) 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the Duramax Diesel. When we took it on our first trip, I was very disapointed at how fast I ran out of fuel. I kept thinking, how could I be out of fuel already...
