    Issues with project restart

Looking for ideas, building a new truck, LBZ motor I’m putting in an LLY. Truck starts, but has a pretty bad shake. Changed flywheel, checked balancer. Can I just say that Mark Broviak is an awesome guy and has been letting me bug him way too much. Hoping to not have to pull the motor back out.

    Stroker pump vs dual pumps

Starting a new build, either going S&S 14mm pump, or dual stock LBZ pumps. Thoughts on which is a more reliable way to go? Will one push significantly more fuel than the other? Will be running 250% over injectors. Thanks

    Slapped around by a powerstroke

Before I put the lift pump in, if I got on it with the big tune it would throw 0087. Now it’s no longer an issue. I have no clue why the Ford’s stock can make more power. Not positive, but didn’t stock turbo twin guys make 600-650 on stock CP4 If so, it’s not the CP4

    Slapped around by a powerstroke

I’ve had a couple fairly quick Dmax’s over the years. Currently have an LBZ and a 2017 F350 platinum. No Duramax without a built trans will keep up to a deleted and tuned powerstroke. My truck is deleted, tuned and a lift pump and supposedly is around 600-630 hp. It is dead even with my wife’s...

    Dpc 2014

I was invited twice and turned them down, first time for business/work reasons, second time because I wasn't interested anymore in risking blowing stuff up. But, that's just me. To me it was a lot more interesting years ago when guys had well built trucks, done mostly by themselves. But, that's...

It's the same thing almost every year. The guy who is smart about it, and is well prepared makes it to the end. If you're putting it together last minute or, beating on it for no reason, odds are against you. I think Diesel Power looks for a few cowboys who they know will blow sh$t up.

    Big injector tuning

Anyone daily drive with big injectors (150%+)? If so have you or your tuner been able to tune them clean? I have 200% overs and My tuner went MIA before we could get the truck dialed in properly. truck has too much smoke before boost comes on and isn't smooth under part throttle. thanks

Gated 66 in twin setup pros/cons

I used a gated 66 with a gt4718. Worked well. 800 hp would be no problem.

Agreed, it's just a lot of beating on your truck in a short time frame. I wish nothing but good luck to those who choose to participate. Don't like some of the politics or the guys who lie to get picked.
