I ran 2.5 years over 600hp on stock head bolts. Truck still has stock bolts with new owner. Putting studs in with heads still on will be tough. Hope you have a big hammer or air chisel to massage firewall to get back driver side stud in.

Yep, cold air, cold fuel, cold cyl walls. Start a big block deere in the cold and she will blow white and gray till it builds some heat, then starts blue haze till it gets to operating temp.

You all are putting too much thought into it lol... Every diesel I've ever been around has always blue hazed in the winter till warmed up.

Go to local parts store like oreillys and grab a oil pan drain plug that's correct size. I've used them twice now. Works good

Well boys... I pulled other valvebody off the other truck that's in for trans work, when I took it apart the b trim valve was binding up is I figured its gunna need to be replaced so I swapped valve stacks around, installed and what do ya know it worked! Went for a half hr drive slowing down...
Yep I ran finger nail all over valve and can't see or feel anything, I cleaned the hell outta it, it's prolly holy now lol. 108 in pounds. I'm afraid it has been warped from previous hands in here, my little impact wouldn't take em loose first go round!
