    Your post implied otherwise. Lb7 aren't that rare. I know a couple that have popped, including my own. Asking the motor to survive at double its output, all while still being used like a truck should, us kinda unrea/istic. Tm didn't build them that way. If u don't like the odds, keep it stock.

    Air the tires down. If you're comfortable running to 4k rpm, you won't have to worry about the 4-5 xhift. I run 13.302 @ 104 with a tune, lift pump and exhaust. 35psi fronts, 30 rears. Edit: just saw ur post. My 60s never went under 1.9..... too heavy, crappy converter.

    Mines leaking as well. Also have about two inches of play side to side in the motor/trans/tcase .....is that normal or should the trans mount hold the whole thing pretty tight?

    Mine's blown into a water jacket. Not a drop of coolant on the block, but upper rad hose is rock hard after driving. Let it idle, it takes about 5 minutes before it builds enough pressure to start dumping it out of the surge tank overflow. Holds pressure over night and I have to add coolant...

    Couldn't agree more. I say what I do about Dean based on a few calls I've seen him make. Lesnar was getting pounded, no doubt, but we've seen him take that or worse and still come back. I just hate seeing a ref call a fight. Let the round finish (it had :45 seconds left) and make the call...

    A new record for Pass Time or a new record for their personal best??? That's haulin some serious butt. I remember seeing Ed's truck on there and how he shocked the contestants with his run. Nothing like seeing fast diesels run with the race cars. :D
