    Mine has a bypass. I added it so I could run without having the pump on and not have to worry about the pump being flow through.

    Mindset goes both ways. Leaving it on helps the cp3, turning it off supposedly saves wear and tear on the liftpump..... whole lot of good that did me.

    Mines been on for about 30k miles, run for probably 5k of of those. It still makes pressure (how much I don't know) but it sounds horrible.

    You guys get it. I got ripped off 3 times in 2009, every time losing the tools I need to make a living. If there's a way I can help, I'd be down. If only we could get so lucky as to catch someone in the act......

    My truck always has that much in the bed, sometimes more. I never use T/H except when I'm dragging a trailer.

    Check the vehicles GVWR. Cali may give you a hard time if you have to insure it as a commercial vehicle too..... unless that's your plan. Then it's no big deal
