    Tractor suitecase weights

I did not realize they were worth this kind of money. My friend has about 2 dozen of them. I borrowed a few to weigh down my engine crane.

Bad news at the doctor's office.

Pat, unfortunate reading..... My friend bought a new 5.0 this spring & has only lost to 2 new Camaros so far & they were both modified. He routinely takes out Camaros, both autos & 6 speed cars. I do not like the facts, but will not lie about it. Makes me sick, since I'm a diehard GM fan...

    Train horn help.

Like this.... my friend has this in his truck from an Amtrak Train. Here is a link to more info. https://home.comcast.net/~eric_miller1971/ Pretty cool setup... I think he may also have 1 for sale, but beware it is not a cheap item.

    help with small block chevy

Usually mid 020's to .030. Would not try less than .020. Remember your rocker studs could move due to improper studs. The factory studs are not machined flat on top & the allen head type lock nuts do not seat flat on them, allowing the adjustment to move. For a test, start the car with...

    Nos Bottle direction

If you mount it sideways, just rotate the bottle slightly (about 30 degrees), so the internal pickup tube is pointing rearward (instead of down) to better pick-up the nitrous in the bottle under acceleration.

    Question: all you 427 gurus!!

Unless you want to run race fuel you will be limited to very low boost. 10.5:1 big blocks are pretty octane sensitive to begin with. Like you said, 5-7 is about correct, as long as you are tuned properly. If you have access to E85, you have a lot more opportunity to crank up the boost. This...

    Question: all you 427 gurus!!

Sure turbo's are great as well, a little more complicated & expensive to install, but none the less the most powerful setup. On a moderate performance build the Maggie is a great unit, especially on a heavy vehicle, but once you get into the 800hp range, I'll take a centrifugal every...

    Hawk Rescue

You got the sneaky kind that is friendly enough to get your trust, then bite you..... They usually thrive on your reaction. As hard as it is, you sometime have to endure the pain. If you don't react, they don't get the pleasure of making you flinch, & often don't try anymore. There is no...

    Question: all you 427 gurus!!

Put a ProCharger on it. Easy to keep under the hood. No loss in mileage under normal use. No overheating. Roots chargers look cool, but centrifugals make more power. 8# boost with intercooler will give you an approx 50% power increase. Been building these for years. My work car (383...

    Hawk Rescue

They can be a handful to train since they are very smart & thrive on emotion. You almost have to react the opposite way & never threaten them. They are basically as smart as a 3yr old kid & will remember everything. You have to gradually approach them from a distance, slowly getting...
