I hope to be working on it over the winter. It bothers me to see it sit there unfinished... so muck work & money that I cannot enjoy. I did build a few more cars in the meantime that kept me busy & involved with the automotive world. My 91 Firebird is nearly finished with a new LS3/T56...

Unfortunately it has been over a year since I touched it. Too much work & not enough personal time. I started the project as a hobby. Now I cannot get the time to work on it. I recently bought a Ford hi-pinion D60 for it. I have to get a car built before I get back on this project...

    Prayers please

Hopefully she is too young for this to do any permanent emotional damage. Hopefully the recording is used to convict them. Hopefully the parents get the same in return from their cell mates. Best of luck to you.

    Which Polymer Pistol?

I have both a Glock & an XDM40. My friend also has a Glock .40. After thousands of rounds, we both shoot better with the XDM. From a rest or free handed, the XDM is the most accurate. It also will shoot plain cast bullets whereas the polygonal rifling of the Glock cannot... a considerable...

    Whats your opinion? Reloader

I have a 550B & it works very well. I've been using it almost 20years with it & never a problem. The 650 is faster with the auto shell indexing & auto case feeder, but you spend a few hundred $$ more to get this feature. If you have many calibers to load & change often, then the 550 will...

I've had mine for over 20 years. It is nice to be able to take your gun with you when you travel.

    2 stroke oil

I thought Type F was bad because of the friction modifiers in the oil. Also wouldn't you have some explaining to do if your tank was dipped & had anything red in it... when they are checking for off road diesel? For this reason, I would also be afraid of any 2 stroke oil that was red.

    '82 Duramax Swap Pictures

That was my original goal, but my hectic life is taking about 2 months of remaining work & stretching it out over years. Business is good, but it sure screws up the personal life. I thought hobbies were something you enjoyed doing, but it looks like I may have to pay someone to help me if I...

Thanks, Just slow in the progress department. Here is a pic of the harness. Cut & spliced 2 harnesses together to make it longer. It is now routed through the fender to the left front corner from under the dash. Trying to hide all the wiring as much as possible. I modified the...

    My new/old toy - Quadzilla

I've always liked the 2 strokes. The violent power is just plain fun. A friend bought a 525 Outlaw IRS & it runs good, with great power, but it is no where near the same power as the LT500 2 stroke. I want to run him with the 250 just to see how it does. The 500 put about 5 on him through...

    My new/old toy - Quadzilla

Thinking about some bigger tires as it has a serious traction problem. Can't wait to start doing some mods.

    My new/old toy - Quadzilla

Found a new toy to play with. Picked up a '87 Suzuki Quadzilla LT500R this weekend. So far I'm having a lot of fun with it. It has some work done to it... over-bored, piped, jetted, wheels, tires etc. I always liked my 250R, so when I got the chance at this one, I could not resist. Got...

Ran a 10.99@122mph on stock bottom end LLY

Beautiful truck & nice times. That is some serious engine setback. Post more pictures if you can. I would like to see more of the custom work you have done.

Unfortuntely I have been very busy w/ work, so the truck has been on hold. The last project was extending the wiring harness for the truck to relocate the fuse box & run all the wiring in the fender. Only about 110 wires in the dash harness... It is rather frustrating... I see it every...

    Should I go with a dana 60 ???

I may be interested, depending on the specs. Not sure of how bad the shipping to Pittsburgh, PA would be. Drop me a PM with your phone number & I'll give you a call in the evening.

    Remove calcium deposits

You could try cider vinegar... it is cheap. I use it to remove calcium from my fish tank components & it dissolves the stuff rather well. Also works on faucet aerators. Spray it on a dry, cool engine & see if it dissolves the stuff. There is probably some in your kitchen so it probably...

    New truck/trailer law in PA.

At one time I heard they were instituting a law that limited the GVW of the trailer to less than that of the truck, to prevent pulling a 8000lb trailer with a 1/2 ton truck. That seemed more safety oriented. This new thing would be plain stupid. Of course after pulling my 34ft 13,000gvw...

    Light drag wheels?

Another good way to keep weights on is to spread a thin coat of clear silicone around the edges of the weights. It seals them in place. Been doing this on my cars for years & never lost a weight. It is almost invisible as well.

    House payment

$0.... so glad it's paid off. After seeing the total paid would be triple the financed amount if I carried the loan full term, I paid it off as fast as possible. The past few years were not fun, but now I get to bank the house payment & hopefully retire before I die.
