Hard to believe, but my local dealer. They will not resurface a head, always take the stock one and check it quick, slap it back together. I asked why of course. They said gm will not warranty a job if the head has been surfaced
With how smart these transmissions are getting. I bet it would be pretty hard to even hurt one. And I really am going out on a limb, but I'd be willing to bet they are beefing it up pretty good.

James, I'm sorry to disagree with you as I have allot of respect for you. But my truck has zero smoke and it's dropping rail down to 24-25k on the big tune. Zero smoke on stock intake.
Dropping rail and no smoke, the 3794 is doing it's job well and so is the stock intake :)

I guess until I see smoke out the pipe I don't really have the desire to do an intake unless it's for looks.

I have the same set up, billet stg2 with upgraded vanes. I have zero smoke with marks tunes. 3150 us sounds about right from what I've seen.
