    With decent pricing and a good shop, Engine with forged pistons and the works with capable compounds, you should be in the 15-18k range for the package depending on the turbos you choose for it. Still alot of money, and at a 1000rwhp your only going to see 10-15 minutes of use at that power...

    I appreciate the replies. My motor will be torn down shortly. Had a failure of some kind. I know it wasn't the pistons, but I am always looking to build bigger and stronger if I have to go into the motor. My truck gets used pretty hard. It went 50k with 300+ 1/4 mile passes at 800ish hp...

    Race weight with nothing loose in the cab and the toolbox removed is 8000-8200 depending on water and fuel amounts. One sidearm? You have a remote control for that aircraft you fly to call it in if needed? :D
