I had a chance to run our stock engine race truck last night on the new setup. I ran a 9.80@139mph with a horrible 60' time. Truck still has my allison build and the same junk yard engine from last season with marks tunes and 45% overs and dual pumps. Also Marks tuning and his 68/71 vgt with...
We found the engine in charlotte, it was a stock 300,000 mile work truck shortblock with heads. We didnt even even pull the heads off. Modded the reluctor wheel and bolted the lly accessories on. We used the lly injectors and valve covers and rockers. Installed a bigger turbo and threw it back...
Thats right! We had a great night, lots of work into this one. If its ok we would like to keep the other spot we got with the lly last year(10.33 @ 130 6500lbs) since this a completely different setup with an lbz engine @ 5500lbs.
