    Like I said, we are already working on a motor for it - we are not expecting this motor to last indifinitely with all the new parts in/on it and we will be tuning it conservatively at first and slowly bringing the power up through the summer as long as the chassis is working to get it to the ground.

    Since no one else ever answered this it is because it is a leakdown test adapter, not a compression test adapter. For leak down the fitting is open to the cylinder, compression is a one way valve. Kent Moore EN-47603 is the proper compression test adapter for LBZ-LML.

    Oh and we just tore down another LLY with a broken crank at the #2 main. Truck had a Danville 68 Stg 2R, 60 overs, and 10mm stroker on conservative tuning to keep rods happy. Hadn't been raced or pulled, just snapped while driving.

    Is your other boost gauge mechanical or electric? it may be fluctuating too fast for the stepper motor to keep and and end up not looking like it is moving.

    Based on which rocker moves next if you keep going. If you are at #1 TDC Exhaust and keep going the intake valve will start to open next. If you are at #1 TDC Compression and keep going you will have to go a long ways, then exhaust will open.
