    I didn't say I cared about the visible machine marks, or even who's rods I was talking about. I was just explaining to WolfLLY that Carrillos were fully machined. I know Carrillos are, I was talking about some billet rods I have seen looking like that are not.

    Yeah, with a set of Carrillos in your hands you can tell they are machined everywhere just like a billet rod - but you will have a hard time seeing any milling marks on them. Some other billets you see a lot of the machining marks on - they almost look glass beaded and not shot peened.

    As Forged means they are basically only touching the bores on both ends with a machine. The Carrillo rods get machined everywhere to get from the forging to the finished product.
