No, talking about being able to use old style crank “or” new style crank in the blocks we are doing up.., not using an L5P crank in an old style block. Gale said I would have to add a sensor hole to the block, waiting to see the file of the rear of the L5P and will go from there.

I made a whole one piece drag style pan, with baffles and kickouts. Then shortened the pickup about 1.5” like we had done on the Nova. It holds 1qt more than factory now
I made a custom pan for it with kickouts, it’s not a factory casting anymore. It’s even with the bottom of the cross member. I’ll get some pics when I get a chance.

Just wrapped up a truck like this, No start issue. Interior lights and windows worked, along with alarm. Other than that it was dead, Ended up being the pass side ground cable. Good find on the fuse block!
