    The parts you listed might make 700hp until the tranny is gone. Once you build the tranny the motor will most likely take a dump.

    Isn't it funny how that goes. I work my 2500 gas and it never breaks a sweat. My heavy duty diesel work truck shouldn't even have a hitch on it lol.

    Another vote for the 6.0 I set aside whatever you were planning to spend on a diesel and find the cleanest gas truck in your price range. You'll have less headaches down the road.

    Ok. I just got a little nervous. Don’t want to hook up to something and end up overheating. My 09 2500 gas seems to run in that 100 over ambient range and the suburban definitely runs hotter.

    The vanes will cycle which is normal. Maybe you are just hearing it more because the insulation and sound deadening are gone.

    I definitely prefer the 30X14. I can launch where I feel comfortable and have some room for error. A little too much boost on the ET Street R and they went up in smoke.

    I ran 305/45r18 ET street R radials and they absolutely hooked better than a street tire. I was leaving in 2nd with 3.42s and still had to be careful not to spin. I ended up selling them and picked up another set of 30x14s. I never had any issues with the 30x14s feeling unstable at 130+. I...
