If you talk to ARP they recommend 625 over 800hp. I ran the 425 for years with about 80psi of boost making 1000rwhp and had no problems. I even reused them twice. The motor I'm running now has the 625 just to be on the safe side. LOL
Here is a short vid of it on the dyno. This is the only video I took. Sorry. I will mount my gopro's on it and go out driving sometime.

wont it still ride on the bump stops?
There has been talk about us pulling my 28' enclosed trailer with my truck in it to Scheids with the blazer but with a 110" wheelbase I think things could get ugly fast. We will be at Scheids but probably without the blazer. Unless we find enough people...
Truck weighed in at 6240 without driver. My dad is looking into doing something different with the torsion bars. Right now it's all factory stuff from a 06 CCSB. He has the bolts backed out of the keys all the way and the bump stops are riding on the a-arm up front so when you hit a big bump...
Thanks guys. My Dad and myself have a ton of time into this build. My dad put about 500 miles on it and loves it!!
Unfortunately we do not have enough time to build another one. And if we did we would probably keep it because they are so much fun to drive!
Thanks Brent and yes he does love it.
Want to thank Mark and the guys at Danville. Took the blazer there yesterday to do some tuning on it.
Thanks again Mark.
Engine is 100% stock except for the egr delete and cold air intake. Also has 100% stock trans.
Made 478rwhp and 898tq. It's a blast to drive!!
Yes Tom, I got a lot of cool stuff from my kids! My youngest son turns 3 tomorrow so its going to be a fun birthday weekend for the both of us.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!!
I still need to fine tune mine. Mark just got my launch controller dialed in now I need to work on the Bump Box. I should only have to bump a couple times not 20!
A big ass trans cooler and the lower part of the radiator.
Thanks Guys!!
I'm going to Danville to let Mark work his magic on it August 13th. Can't wait!
Here is another video put together from the video guy at Byron Dragway. Shows some incab video and also a camera mounted on the front fender.

Also some pictures he took.
At world finals last year it weighed 4535. Since then I added a bed cover 10lbs , rear tailgate 45lbs and a CO2 bottle and everything that goes with it 27lbs. So it should weigh right around 4610-4620 now.
Thanks again guys!!
