Duramax swapped Trailblazer SS...you might say why?...I say why not.

I'll see if I can find a pic. I use a heavy duty tubing clamp that has rubber around it. It fits the tube tight and I use a bolt hole on the engine block to fasten it too. I've never had any problems with it coming out. It's got two o-rings that seal it in the pan. Sent from my XT1254 using...

    Duramax block strength

I've never split a block but I've done my fare share of damage to blocks. I've had a few built motors in my race truck. I think machine work and clearance have a big part in block strength and longevity. I have mix feelings about half fill blocks. On one of my race engines that I got hot you...

Duramax swapped Trailblazer SS...you might say why?...I say why not.

Call these people. They made one for me for my custom application. I gave them a bunch of details and they said no problem. It's also flexible so I can move and bend it as needed. The part # to mine was 65107800 . Hopefully that can at least get them going in the right direction...

Question: Engine Diaper or oil containment system

I'm working with DJ Safety and Mayeda Motorsports right now on a engine diaper for the duramax. It will be SFI approved. I'm not sure if anyone else makes one.

    Up in flames!

Not too much. Last year it weighed 4550 with me in it. I have to weigh at least 4500 to be in Prostreet. It would be nice to run ballast where I need it though.

    Up in flames!

I can't thank the guys over at HSP Diesel enough for what they have done with this cage! HSP is killing it on the fab work. The 25.6 sfi cage is the 1st stage of the build. I can't wait to see what they have in store! Thanks guys on all your hard work! Once again I couldn't do it without my...

Anyone tried no intercooler on Duramax?

MA sand rail is a single turbo with no IC. That thing seems to run good! Why are you wanting to wait to put nos on it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsBaqdRVaNQ

    What to use to datalog

Your best bet is to use the Edge CTS2 with the add on EAS sensors. That's the cheapest way to go and will monitor the most.

    LML Dynoed LML

I've been running a solenoid in my 15.5 for almost 35,000 miles and have had no problems with it. I only had 3,000 miles on the truck when I did it so I reused the trans oil. I got mine from amazon.

    Any billet cranks in DD'ers?

My 2016 race engine Wagler built had a Callies crank in it. It's back at Wagler's get torn down and the crank is going back to Callies so they can check it over and make sure its as good as they say it is. This engine ran all year between 1500-1700+hp!!
