    Maybe this stuff could get moved to a different thread, but are there still bigger fish to fry or are us small fry going to start get burnt soon as well? I am kind of glad my truck is a 2001, but not like that will stop them from trying.

    If you have been running the tuning for a while without issues and the issues have come up since removing the egr, then its not a software issue.

    Do you have air in the cooling system? Not sure sure on the lml but the earlier trucks had a bleed port on top of the thermostat housing to help get all the air out.

    I would be interested in the results of this, I have been thinking about going to the 400 frame from the 300 since even with the 1.0 housing I have, it could use a wastegate, but I don't want the headache on a DD.

    Does it bolt on? I am by no means a expert, but I was under the impression that if it has the bung for the turbo coolent it's a van housing and if it doesnt have it then it's a lml housing. I thought that the lml housing doesn't fit the earlier coolent bridge. Either way I am in for the information.

    Who's S485 and S488? If Its a stock BW fmw 88 and a decent billet wheel 85 I would go with the 85.

    Yes, but I don't think they will warranty it in this situation because they have fine print. I probably will try, but I am not holding my breath. To undated this, I guess I fat fingered the order and order 11-21 tie rods, so I reorder there better one this go around.

    You have there high end ultimate ones, they have a option thats cheaper that appears to be the same as there rare parts one. I will compare when i get the other set off.

    I think these are a mass relabeled in part, I ordered Dmax stores ones as a replacement since they where cheaper and they look the same to me, I will see when I get them.

    I guess this is why the tie rods wasn't taking much grease the last couple of go arounds, the nipple was messed up some how and I never really paid attention. Thankfully I had just gotten off of the interstate and was in a neighborhood only doing 25ish. Steering had been a bit funky rough road...

    Due to my hitch the brackets that came with the bumper didn't work even if I raised them up and drilled new holes. So I cut off the back part that bolts to the bumper, then I was bolted my existing bumper brackets to the other half of the bracket using existing bolt holes. You will need to drill...

    It looks like your correct, I believe the 2500 brackets are taller to hide the bigger frame rails and body mounts. Hopefully I can modify or graft the existing mounts with the new ones and make it work.

    So I ordered aftermarket replacement for a half ton, from what I heard the only difference is the top plastic part and should be a direct bolt on.

    Can the 01-10 trucks use the newer style rear bumpers? My rear bumper rusted to the point where steel part in the middle ripped out. I was debating put a roll pan on, but I need to beable to get up in the bed easily, and corner steps are starting to sound appealing with age.

    I don't think so, but it had a desently sized hex head that it sealed against. The adaptor i used was a glowshift m12-1.5 to 1/8 NTP adaptor.

    Not sure if you can do it on the newer steering boxes, but you could check is if the hight of the pinon in the steering box needs adjusted(basically if you can push the pitman up into the steering box). My cousin who does alignment for a local shop here did it to my 2002 work truck with 200000...
