Yep, prices have gone up since mike was around. Stock rebuild from my knowledge. the truck is a stock 04 8.1L. I will have to post up the receipt so everyone can see what was done. 20 year old transmission, but the oil was always changed at recommended intervals, so who knows. Weird fluke I guess, but an expensive one at that $4600 otd- Dm23

My brothers truck wouldn’t go into drive and when it would, the truck would slam into gear pretty hard. Same thing with reverse. Then after those symptoms happening for about 2 weeks, the truck on the freeway would start to slip. My brother took the transmission out, drove it over to Inglewood...- Dm23

I’m not sure whose it is. I asked but forgot the name. It’s got a compound setup from what the front desk dude told me and they cut the long bed and made it obviously into a shorter bed. The guy who works for Evan at the front desk, who used to work at ppe is a nice guy.- Dm23

I have a topic!!!, what can go wrong with my truck today? lol. :ROFLMAO: Started up fine, went to get lunch, truck didn't seem to get to temp, stayed at 125d even after 15-20 minutes of driving. On my way back I got on it pretty good, temps shot up to 175 then slowly started to drop back down...- Dm23
