    On my lb7 the compounds made the truck quieter. Got rid of the drone in the cab anyways. I was running a stack. But I had a billet race cover and it soaked up a lot of turbo whine for sure. 475 over stock.

    A non-impact socket might fit. The chrome ones. They aren’t as thick. And yes, the stud is supposed to stick out past the end of the lug nut the same distance as the diameter of the stud.

    If my lb7 was 4wd I would have kept it. That thing just wouldn’t quit and I abused it pretty good. The only thing I really kept up on it was fluid changes. Just about everything needed fixed or replaced and I got $6000 for it when I sold it. I turned down a $6500 cashiers check for $6k cash lol...

    LB7: Tow mirrors for 01 2500hd

    I think they are all going to have that rake to them. You can fix it yourself. Take the cover off (of the mirror hinge) and put some washers on the upper bolts. You’ll have to clearance the cover most likely as well but not much. It’s not hard to do.

    I wonder if the different os’s are associated with having factory trailer brake control or even where the 2/4wd switch is mounted? But not limited to just those 2 things.
