New Member-Just bought a new 2021 Silverado.
I haven't heard of any systemic quality control issues as of yet. They are in their fourth year of production. It's become a popular option so most GM techs are being trained on the lm2. At 24 mpg city it's a pretty easy sell, they drive like they have more hp than is there.- NC-smokinlmm

I just bought one myself, looking forward to it! They are bad ass trucks for sure. I went ahead and got a 2022 with new interior but gmc is still selling the 21 interior as a limited version for 22 also it seems.- NC-smokinlmm

2016 LML direct impact on wheel and axle (damage?)
No sign of box hitting cab. I'm still thinking it's the spring pack being jacked up. The sheet metal is 99% untouched. The overload is out of place and it looks like the shear pin is bent. The bed wasn't touched, it's nuts, she hit my wheel and it went right up her hood and over the passenger side quarter panel and sheared it off as I fell off her hood. It has a small bend in the bottom quarter and a dent in the exhaust, that's it. That's why I'm so concerned about the bed offset...- NC-smokinlmm

I was t boned yesterday by a red light runner in a 19 crv, she directly hit my passenger rear tire at 50+ mph. My truck is in surprisingly good shape for the accident but it will not drive straight. Better look around for a nest in there. They have been known to get into the fuse box underhood and wreck havoc. It's due to the fact that the insulation on the wiring has peanut oil in it. Honda actually puts poison bait near the ignition wiring now to combat the problem...- NC-smokinlmm
