    Chevelle upgrades.

We’ll raceweek and a race at xrp the same week did us in. Broke a piston and hurt a rod. Motor/piston had about 500 passes and about 8k miles. We did run it on the big jets the last 3 passes and then it popped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1/8 mile discussion and time slips post here!

I must have been looking at something else, my bad. All looks good. I didn’t realize there was an old and new list. [emoji2359] I saw the old one and thought it was it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok good. I would start with a good name brand billet input or aermet shaft. Ck and sonnax both make really good aermet inputs. Then a billet od planet, small or big od sprag (either one works). Billet clutch hub, 36 element direct drum sprag, factory main shaft is good. Then good clutches and...

The torque is what’ll do you in. Guess you can always try a factory 80/85 out of a van, converter and trans combo. That would be best bet at a budget 80/85 that was designed to live behind a Dmax. If you can find this then I would roll with it bone stock at that power level. Sent from my...

    Chevelle upgrades.

Well didn’t realize this thread had not been updated in over 2 years [emoji2359]. I thought I had posted somewhere here about the latest engine in the car. I’m sure I did, I think it was on another thread where we were talking about the SoCal rods. Anyways. Here’s a list of current parts/mods in...

LB7: Engine knock possible in the head??

Cts monitor is cheap and easy to see balance rates. Or a good scanner. An injector going bad, or bad can/will knock and more then likely smoke or stink like raw fuel coming out of tailpipe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lb7 4l80

I currently run an LB7 with an 80 behind it in my Chevelle. Exactly as described above with a pcs2800. Biggest hurdle will be the converter, if you make any power and want to go fast. We’ve since put in a ton of R&D making it work and got it dialed. So far we’re at over 1500hp at the crank and...

    Injector stuck open LB7 (maybe)

I’ve had 3 sacs get stuck on me. 2 LDS 45’s and 1 SAC00. The sac was contaminate in the line, while going back together after an engine rebuild debris was introduced into the feed line which made it to the injector. I use Injector’s Direct for all my fuel needs (now) and they were able to fix...

05 LLY, remand long block, sitting 2 years, new injectors etc. Crank no start.

Confirm fuel at the fuel port behind/on top of alternator after pumping primer (do not open bleeder at primer). Just hit it with a screw driver after priming system. Preferably while priming. Confirm communication with ecm with key on. If you can communicate, then check for codes. Start here...

    LB7 to LB7 swap

01 & 02 have the same eop sensor. Y bridge is different in those as well. 03 and up have the same eop sensor. These sensors and harnesses are not interchangeable with the 01/02 engine harness. Federal engine harnesses vary slightly depending on year, map location, jumper harness, eop/oil...

Tuning in an Older Swapped Truck

We’ve swapped a bunch of vehicles throughout the years. All old school, 60’s, 50’s and 70’s. No issues with inspections or epa or etc. from all over the country. Most in cali. You won’t have an issue, roll with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LB7 fuel line clean up in the valley ??

You cannot delete the sensor. I repurposed mine as an intake temp sensor. I’m pretty sure I posted this info in another thread years ago when I did this. I tapped threads in the bottom of the Wagler intake next to the npt ports. Now I capture the data via efilive too. Sent from my iPhone...
