I installed an upgraded DHD water pump and 2020 oil cooler last week. Also cleaned the cooling stack up a bit. Other than some issues with o-rings (my fault) not a terribly hard job.
Could be a busted sprag. I had to damn near stand on the brakes in my ‘07. No matter what make sure you flush your coolers thoroughly. Mike got multiple pieces like this out of mine.
You shouldn’t have to modify the bezel. Check out crutchfield.com for head units. I’ll be in the same boat soon but I’m not worried about cutting. I’ll be using the Metra bezel.
Well everything works in v8.3.5. Gonna have to play around and figure it out more. Haven’t figured out how to get a split screen between the log and the tune. Thanks for chiming in Dale!

Depending on what tire size you run, it would probably be cheaper to do a 6 speed conversion. 4.10 gears pair with a 33” tire well. They are actually closer to 34” when comparing speed vs rpm.
I don’t think either of those goes thru the clock spring. I’d start checking fuses.
Edit…cruise does. Tow/haul I’d look for the broken orange wire. Cruise start with the brake switch.
