    Ryan Pini #39 on the list went out this past weekend for some licensing passes and came out with a new PB but popped a turbo on the run. Went [email protected] on the pass. This is with the Allison trany from Limitless in it, weight is the same as before and still has the vgt triple setup...

    I'm seriously thinking about swapping converters and seeing if that fixes because I run the DHD Lockup box/switch setup and only run 1 switch to simplify it. I know for 150% that my Q converter in White Lightning is good so I'm seriously thinking about swapping them and seeing what it does.

    That would be the best case that the solenoid is just bad and needs replaced! It doesn't stall up like it is supposed too either which is making it hard to hold back at the line to launch it. Either way it still worked enough to get the job done and give us a great starting point and direction...

    Agreed, cause then someone could take a really fast truck make a pass, sell it, new owner makes a pass, and so on and we would have it over run with one vehicle in multiple positions which isn't fair to everyone else.

    It's a 1072-3 iirc, it's all good. Issue or not it already got 12 passes on it so it is what it is.

    Thanks guys! Yes, I'm having a converter/lockup clutch issue with it. Did it at Wagler's also but I thought it was my fault cause the lockup switch was on the steering wheel so I fixed that which means it is the converter itself most likely. At this point I don't care one bit, has 12 passes...

    This happens when it doesn't reach 100% vane position during the sweep test and it pisses the computer off and puts it in this mode where it just cycles til it does hit it. Could just be a bad vane sensor or an issue inside the turbo that is keeping it from reaching full position.

    It was done by a big name company but I personally know nothing about the L5P tuning itself so who knows.
