    Frame off restoration is what i'd do, and am currently doing with an LMM. I too no longer have any desire for newer emissions equipped diesels after owning them.

    It wasn’t my powdercoater. It was a brand new winch carrier from warn. I don’t care who does it, one chip and a few trips thru NY in the winter, it’s coming off.

    Steering center link - straight or dropped?

    Thats what I’m running, with the Ppe oe style beefier centerlink. Seems to be solid, decided to not use the pisk kit I bought after assembling it all. Anyone else running this setup care to chime in if the pisk is even needed ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    I’ve done it in the past also, other epoxies tended to get chalky after a while so I always top coated after the first one. SPI’s black epoxy has uv inhibitors in it. Supposedly if the mix is induced 4 hrs before spraying, it’s supposed to hold up well. We’ll see. I’m looking for a simple cost...

    Thanks! Nope. Had it sandblasted Thursday and I sprayed it with SPI Expoxy Primer right after. About 3 coats. I’m not a fan of powder, having done it in the past. Yes it’s durable, but when compromised tends to come off in sheets.

    Ordered one this morning! Also got kryptonite pitman, idler, tie rods and a PPE Centerlink. That completes my suspension and steering upgrades.

    So what’s the deal with these now. Is the Mopar one 6bolt and a direct fit ? Have my frame getting sandblasted now, trying to figure out what I want to do about steering upgrades while it’s apart. Already have the kryptonite idler brace, a supersteer idler and cognito pisk.

    That was my plan, but then I saw the LMM has a lot more tables that do not appear in my LBZ like all the different altitudes. I will try copying the tables that appear in both and see where that gets me.
