    There are some very good Bosch guru's out there, if you can find one to tackle it. As you can see in the video, just learning to use the tools is it's own months long course. With proper a2l or map file, it speeds up the searching process a good bit.

    Reading the original post again, if the ESP work fine with just an LBZ ECM connected, then what is the job of the box? Replicate an LBZ ECM on CANbus?

    Since the factory LML gaskets were known to have a high rate of failure, unless someone really overheated it, likely just check the heads and install good gaskets an call it done. But ya never know for sure until ya tear it down.
