    Yeah, but unless you go through customizing all of those PIDs and everything to have a nice scanner configuration HPTuners doesn't do the legwork for you.

    Ah, that makes sense. Can't do that fun stuff with HPT. On a turbo car I can see why stuff like that is important.

    LOL, it is too! I do a lot of the sports cars more than trucks. There's a lot of "tuners" in the valley, and plenty of shops. It's sad how many shops get in the middle of tuning and then go "Oh crap, better call someone in who knows what they're doing"

    Chandler is pretty close by. I do a lot of my tuning on the dyno at AZ Dyno Chip off of Ray Road, and at one point in my life I lived in Chandler. :)

    You're telling me! And I got a kick out of laying a smoke trail too. Then I backed the tune down and eliminated the smoke so that the Kodiak didn't get single digits mpgs

    It looks like the EFILive is great stuff. I'm heavily considering it. I've done so much with HPTuners up to this point with the years and years I put behind and probably $7,000 in vehicle licenses.

    Hey guys, I'm new to these Forums and wanted to say Hi to the local guys. I've been tuning a few years professionally, and have been getting more and more into diesels. I have always had more fun tuning the turbo motors, and now I find diesel to be addicting!

    How many people on here tune using HPTuners? I have used it for hundreds of GM gas engines, but have recently got into diesel tuning in the past two years. So far I have even done a few Chevy Kodiaks. Do most people here use EfiLive, or something else? Oh and btw, this is my first post on...
