    Cups

    Mechanic says the cp3 cannot maintain the rt pressure. He wants to replace the cups, the cp3 and stud it, one at a time, at a cost of 5500. This seems to be a little steep to me but im new to diesels

    Pliable. I tried that before I took it to the shop. Mechanic says the head gasket is fine. He wants to stud it when he does the other job for future security

    I have an 02 lb7. Hazing white smoke and using coolant. The repair shop said my balance rates are all 2 or under. Mechanic believes the injectors have been replaced before but that the cups werent replaced. Does this seem logical? Also throwing a low fuel rail pressure code which he says is...
