    I am in the process of changing my injectors and its going well.....have them all out. All the lines that attach to the top of the injectors have some crude adjacient to where they mate ....do i need to buy new lines or if i take them to someone who has ultrasonic cleaning will clean them up??

    Lb7 injectors I am original owner of 2003 and have 160000 miles and i am in work changing mine. They haven't gone out but the balance rates are off a little as i was told. I have the time to change them so i don't get ripped off during vacations.

    thanks for all your help i used a brake spoon and they all popped out. the sleeves stayed in as well so no problem with coolant

    one more issue i just learned is that if the injector sleeve comes out with the injector coolant will go into the cylinder. i only drained the resevior..............should i drain more out of the block and if so where is the drain plugs?

    i am in the process of changing my injectors using alldata for reference material......all is going well waiting for the injector puller that i ordered. i pulled the allen bolts from the holddowns and the hold downs is loose, but won't come out i don't want to force it............any suggestions?

    I am in the process of changing my injectors and plan on changing my glow plugs. I am looking at Wellman dual element self regulating glow plugs and want to know if anyone has any experience with them or should I stick with stock glow plugs. I have 160000 miles on my truck:hug:

    The only way to check the entire filter for hair line cracks is to remove it and dye check it. just wondered if anyone else has had problems with the WIX plastic filter before I removed it.
