    Question: What is your favorite brake controller?

    Definitely the Prodigy. I've pulled for 30 years, going back to old tap in the brake line system. Used many different ones since and the Prodigy is the best so far.

    2X2 Hitch Problems 2006?

    Has anyone had problems with the 2X2 receiver enlarging and getting sloppy? Chevy replaced mine NO CHARGE after 35,000 mi. Of which 20,000 mi was hauling a 12,000 lb load using a properly adjusted weight distributing hitch. Chevy won't put on a 2.5X.2.5 receiver as they said it would violate...

    Allison 6sp: Towing a big boat

    If you are stock (no programmer) put in Drive, Tow and Cruise set a 60. I pull a 12,000 lb Travel Trailer w/ my 2006 and haul it up to 10,000 foot elevation. Never over heats and still get 10.8 to 12.9 mpg depending on wind. Will occasionally auto-downshift to 5th gear on its own.
