    one battery was just replaced, the side post socket melted out of it when i first hooked it up to start the truck, got it replaced under the battery warranty. The other battery is 11 months old bought at the same time as the other one. But I will double check them, they havent been in the truck...

    I'll try that, just got off the phone with a GM tech he said my cluster may be bad, and its possible it can be shorting out the dataline causing my scanner to be unable to read the codes.
