    Ok I order a new fuel pressure regulator Bosch, a ppe fprv to begin with I also ordered the filter head gasket rebuild. Everything should be in about a week or so and it’ll take me a week or two to get everything taken apart with my work schedule. I’ll keep everybody posted

    I could get the ppe standard and it’ll do both but man I would really like the ego it’s kust out of my budget right now. Hopefully somebody sheds some light if the AutoCal will run diagnostics

    Ok so I am biting the bullet and buying a tech 2. And a Bosch fpr and getting rid of that Duracrap bs that I but in there it’s all they had so I stuck with it ba decision.     Ok the symptoms were surging slow surging at idle rpms would move by 500 at a time. It was a duralast they didn’t have Bosch. I am untuned. I am at a total loss. Ok I’ll disconnect the fpr and see what happens it idles normal in park but reverse and drive it goes into high idle the truck is bone...

    Ect is buttoned up still surging in reverse and drive. I wonder if I got a bad fpr when I replaced it? Or I have a bad ect but I am not popping any codes

    Dang good to know gents I will borrow my girlfriends grandpas soldering iron. What size of heat shrink would y’all get? I would suppose when I removed the alternator I yanked on the already bad wire connections. Why would the truck idle wierd in park and drive is my question. I don’t understand...
