    Bump... picked up an np205 drivers drop. Also picked up a 14 bolt. And got mad parts coming in to do crossover steering and 1 ton conversion.

    ^^^^ Thanks bro! I've checked all those out. The first axle looks to a dually axle, too narrow. The tcase is a gm one (passenger side drop). The hp 60 I bought is a driver side drop.

    Little update with this. Picked up 79 hp dana 60 to start the 1 tons process. Probably going to check out an LQ4 with 243 heads, mild comp cam, 42lb injectors, aftermarket 90mm tbody, ss trailblazer intake. Have been looking for a decent 14 bolt ff. And a driver side drop np205.

    Your truck is giving me motivation. Trying to decide if I should continue to go with a 12v or just do an lq4 swap. I definitely want a diesel in this truck but a 12v weighs so damn much.... Even thinking about an lbz but want to keep cost down.

    I just picked up a clean 74 k10. Normal half ton goods on it with a 6" lift and 37's. Going to build it into a good off road machine and not be a trailer queen getting to the off road area. It's definitely going to be reliable. My plans; 12v for simplicity NV4500 NP205/203 twin sticked...
