    Help: LB7 Power Steering gearbox plug..

    Hey guys. I am in the process of replacing the plug on the end of my power steering gearbox. I am having a hard time getting the circlip that holds the plug in, out. Has anyone had to do this before or does anyone have any info of how to do this easily? Thanks a bunch in advance...

    sorry i didnt have my signature up when i first posted this. it should be there now. i want to swap the bumper and grille off of a 2004 gmc 2500hd, onto my 2002 gmc 2500hd. i have been told it is possible i just want to know how hard it is to do before i go out hunting for parts.

    Thanks for the info guys. The truck ended up having to go visit the doctor. I couldn't locate the leak other than that it was coming from the front of the motor and i didn't think tearing into it myself was the best plan. It turned out to be the injector pump. $1600 for parts and labor. Should...
