Im in the process of cleaning up my engine bay. I have a background in aircraft engineering and looking at a few things that GM has done has me scratching my head and thinking they could have done better in some areas. It doesn't make sense to me to mount filters and computer modules to a hot rattling diesel engine so I started buliding custom brackets to relocate these items. The fuel filter I would have liked to mount on the firewall or fender but there is absolutly no room for that. I wanted to keep it in a high location because of the air bleeder.
