I have a 2006 GMC 2500HD Duramax.. 37" BFG AT KO / 6" Lift - K&N / RBP 5" Cat back and running stock 3.73 gears. It turns about 1700 @ 70 mph. I currently pull a boat at loaded weight of 7500lbs with no issue and typically on flat roads. I am looking into a 39 foot 5th wheel toy hauler with a dry weight of 12400 lbs (max 16000 lbs). I am thinking that the gearing will be on the high side. Is 4:56 the answer for the weight and power band ? If so, what will it to to highway mileage when not towing ? Thanks...
